Hey Hidey Ho!

First things first: There’s more than one way to do a video for your business than memorizing your scripts (I’ll be doing videos on some of these in the coming months).

But if you’re determined to film your fabulous content this way, here are some great tips to get you started.

I’ll be the first to admit, memorizing is a wacky zone of tedium and time.

Unless, of course, you have a photographic memory. Then it’s a piece of cake.

But for the rest of us, memorizing can feel like you’re missing some big secret. That your mind must be missing the memorizing gene or something.

So check out the video below to get my top memorizing tips.

Why can memorizing be so hard?

The truth about memorizing is that it’s kind of like working a muscle. The more you do it, the easier it gets.

Another key to memorizing is to figure out how your mind remembers things. People learn in different ways (more on this in the video above).

Just remember, getting this muscle going does take time. Memorizing can take more time than you’d think, especially if you get nervous when you press record.

Bonus tip: If the words fly out the window when you start filming, it doesn’t mean that you can’t memorize, it just means that you haven’t put in enough time learning the script.
